Holidays and other Closures:
We are closed all Federal Holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day​, Thanksgiving, as well as closed from the Friday before Christmas until January 2nd.
Any unexpected closure (due to illness or similar) will appear in a yellow header on every page of this website as well as the Google business listing.
ABOUT
Chattanooga Fine Violins is a full service violin shop serving East Tennessee, North Georgia, and North Alabama. We have a wide variety of modern and antique Violins, Violas, and Celli for sale, an excellent rental program, and a repair shop offering expert repair and restoration of all instruments as well as their bows.
The shop was founded and is run by luthier Isaac Stroupe. Isaac apprenticed and worked for eight years at a busy violin shop in Atlanta, Georgia, learning instrument restoration as well as bow rehairing and repair. He quickly became the principal bow restoration technician in that shop and performed over 3000 bow rehairs during that time. As an instrument maker he has completed over 40 instruments and has restored and repaired hundreds of bowed and fretted instruments. We are proud to offer this expertise to Chattanooga area musicians.
