HOW TO PACK A BOW

A PVC Tube from the home improvement store makes for a nearly indestructible bow shipping tube. Buy the heaviest walled PVC available that is wide enough inside to accommodate your bow with plenty of bubble wrap and two matching caps.

BUBBLE WRAP

First, cut a rectangle of bubble wrap a few inches longer than your bow in all directions.

SLIDE INTO TUBE

Next, roll the bow up in the bubble wrap and slip into the PVC tube. This may take some trial and error to establish the correct size of the bubble wrap. You want the bow to be suspended in the tube, not touching either end cap or any of the walls of the tube but not so tight that you have to force the bow into the tube. Ensure there is plenty of padding between the ends of the bow and the ends of the tube.

PACK TUBE IN A SHIPPING BOX

Pack the PVC tube in more bubble wrap and seal with plenty of packing tape. Affix the shipping label and drop off at the shipper.
